Erasmus+ Teacher Refresher Programme

This course is for school teachers who seek refreshment and upgrade their teaching practice, alongside upgrading their language skills and gaining a deeper understanding of contemporary Irish life and culture.

This course is designed for teachers, students, and other education professionals to facilitates effective communication with students, colleagues, and peers. Participants with English proficiency ranging from A1 (Elementary) to C1 (Advanced) are welcome to enrol.

This Erasmus+ General English Language Training course is a year-round course, which offers flexible durations ranging from 1 to 12 weeks. Each week comprises either 15 or 20 hours of structured study, complemented by an afternoon cultural and social program. Additionally, the course incorporates off-site activities or excursions on a weekly basis.

Course Aims

• Enhance your mastery and adaptability across various grammatical structures and functions, enabling effective communication for diverse social and professional contexts.
• Communicate with greater clarity and precision, employing appropriate pronunciation to avoid misunderstandings or requests for repetition.
• Deliver well-prepared presentations on familiar topics, articulating main points, including comparisons and distinctions, with a reasonable level of accuracy.
• Produce coherent written compositions on a variety of familiar subjects within your area of expertise.
