It supports priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda.
Berlitz offers a wide range of Teacher Training and General English skills development to suit the needs of working professionals. Our programmes are developed by an expert team of DELTA-qualified, experienced, and motivated ELT teacher trainers. As such, our Teacher Training Courses are eligible to be 100% funded by the Erasmus plus key action 1 (KA1 learning mobility of individuals).
Courses are designed for practising primary and secondary teachers as well as other school, university and adult education staff and courses are. designed in tandem with participants to ensure your chosen course meets the development objectives of the individual participants and your Erasmus+ project.
A range of afternoon activities where participants will be encouraged to develop language skills in a more informal environment outside the classroom.
Berlitz teaching methodology centers around a communicative approach, wherein students engage in authentic tasks aimed at expressing and exchanging ideas, opinions, and experiences. Active participation in pair work, small group discussions, and whole-class activities is expected from all students. Encouragement is given for the application of newly acquired language skills, asking questions, and attentively absorbing teacher feedback for improvement.
Throughout the course, participants will partake in various afternoon activities designed to foster language development in a relaxed, informal setting beyond the confines of the classroom. These activities also serve to deepen their understanding of contemporary Ireland and the vibrant city of Dublin.
Eligible participants have the opportunity to receive funding through the Erasmus+ programme.
We advise contacting your National Agency to explore available funding options. Additionally, you can utilize EU resources regarding Erasmus+ funding. As the Receiving Institution, Berlitz will provide the requisite documents, including the Staff Mobility for Training (STT) invitation, study plan and schedule, and Certificate of Participation.
